If the blog is about environmentally friendly products, use a colour scheme and design based on greens and nature-inspired prints to compliment that theme. If a blog is about technology, shades of steel and grey can look fabulous. For a blog that deals with pop culture, a comic strip-inspired frame can look really nice.
