The term graphic design seems to have evolved from the graphics that were used for depicting various natural characters in earlier hieroglyphs and cave arts. At the beginning writing involved use of pictures and graphics for which proper words were not evolved.

In a nutshell, the blog's design should be in tandem with the blog's main theme so that an instant link between the two is created. Don't just pick a random attractive design, put some thought into your selection.
