1.Sprinkle some salt onto the stain area. Wait for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix some vinegar with water. Add the water vinegar mixture to the salt to clean the carpet stain.

2. rust removal
Mix salt with water and baking soda. Use the mixture to smear onto the rust. Put the tool under sun to dry. Then use brush or dry rug to clean the rusted tool.

3. cleaning porcelain toilet and sinks
There will be yellow or brownish stain and water stain on after using them for sometimes. Then you can try to mix salt with turpentine into a paste. Smear the sink and toilet. Wait for 15 minutes and clean with a wet sponge.
